CONSTRUCTION

  1. CONDUCTUNG CORE – copper, single- or multiwired, round- or sector-shaped, of first or second class per GOST 22483
  2. INSULATION – made of polyvinilychloride compound (PVC). Insulated cores of multicore cables have distinctive colouring. Zero core’s insulation is coloured blue. Grounding core’s insulation is coloured dichromatically (green-yellow).
  3. STRANDING – insulated conductors of two-, three-, four-, and five-cores cable are stranded; two-conductor cables have cores of identical cross-section; three-, four-, five-cores cables have all cores of identical cross-section or one core of a smaller cross-section (zero core or grounding core).
  4. SHEATH – made of PVC compound; in VVGng cables is PVC compound with low inflammability.

APPLICATION:
For power transmission and distribution in permanent facilities intended for rated AC voltage of 0.66 kV and 1.0 kV at the frequency of 50 Hz.
For installation in dry and damp production areas, in special cable canals and blocks; for outside installation. Cables are not recommended for under ground installation (in trenches).
VVG cables are not spread burning at single cabling.
VVGng cables are not spread burning at cabling in bunches.
