Flexible power cables with Cu multi-wire cores, rubber insulation and rubber sheath

CONSTRUCTION

  1. CONDUCTING GORE — Cu, round, multiwire core, 5 class per GOST 22483. Conducting cores of KG-T cables, intended for operation in tropical climate conditions are made of tinned/lead & tin alloy (tin contents not less than 40 %) clad copper wires.
  2. SEPARATION LAYER — polymer tape, insulation can be applied without a separation layer
    provided that the rubber does not stick.
  3. INSULATION — is made from rubber. Insulated cores have distinctive colouring, solid or bandpass coloring. Zero core’s insulation is coloured blue; If zero core is out, the blu color usel for any core except grounding core. Grounding core have green-yellow color or have numerical mark “0”. Coloring of single-core and 2-cjres cables is not rated. Red, grey, white, green and yellow (except green-yellow) colors are not use for coloring of multy-cores cables.
  4. STRANDING — insulated cores are stranded with step of strand not more than 16 diameters on strand.
  5. SEPARATION LAYER — polymer tape over the stranden, or powder (talk), or any other equal material. Permissible producing without tape at separation of insulated cores from sheath.
  6. SHEATH — from sheathing rubber, sheath thickness
    Sheath of cables, designed for usage in regions with cold climat, made from cold-resistant sheathing rubber. Sheath of cables, designed for usage in tropic conditions, made from rubber with antiseptic components. In single-core cables KG is permissible the changing of insulation and sheath to insulation-protective sheath. The nominal insulation-protective sheath thickness is equal to the sum of the nominal thicknesses of insulation and sheath or double insulation thickness.

APPLICATION
Apply for connection to electric networks for 660 AV at frequencies of up to 400 Hz or 1000 CV with bending radius not less than 8 cable diameters at permissible conductor heating temperatures of up to 750С.
Cables for tropical regions have marking "Т". Cold resistant cables have marking “HL". Cables with zero core have marking “n”, cables with 2 and 3 main cores and one or two secondary cores have marking "v". Nominal cross-section of zero core, grounding core and secondary cores of KG cables, depending on nominal cross-section of main cores, is accordance to the specified.
